The museum is currently partially ADA compliant, and we’re raising funds to bring it into compliance. The museum has recently added a blacksmith shop adjacent to the other three artisan exhibits (woodworking, printing, weaving), showcases various artifacts from the gold rush era, and is one of the few places in California where you can find authentic artifacts from that time period. A favorite activity is the gold panning station just outside the pole barn. If you’re interested in donating towards this project, please visit our donation page.
